The Ultra Music Festival is an outdoors electronic music festival held in different parts of the world every year.
Russell Faibisch & Alex Omes founded this festival in 1999, and named it after Depeche Mode’s 1997 album Ultra.
The European Ultra Music Festival debuted as a 2-day festival on July 12 and 13 in 2013. The festival was held in Split, Croatia.
There was also an added Ultra Beach Party organized on July 14 on Hvar Island, also in Croatia.

The festival was such a success that from 2015 onwards, it became a part of Destination Ultra, a 7-day event held in different locations in Croatia.
Ultra Music Festival – 2019
The music festival this year will be Ultra Europe’s 7th edition and people have already blocked their calendars for this mega event. With just 43 days to go, things are really heating up!
The Ultra Europe 2019 music festival is scheduled to take place from July 12 to July 14, and will take off at the Stadion Poljud in Split, Croatia. However, for entire Destination Ultra experience will start on July 11 and go on till July 17.
NOTE:Even has been moved to new location from Poljud Stadium to Park Mladezi not far away from prevous location
The schedule of events is as follows:
- July 11 – RESISTANCE Split (Opening Party)
- July 12-14 – Ultra Europe Music Festival
- July 15 – Regatta Party
- July 16 – Ultra Beach Hvar
- July 16 – RESISTANCE Hvar
- July 17 – RESISTANCE Vis
RESISTANCE Split
Ultra Destination will begin with the opening party, called the RESISTANCE Split, which will be held at the waterfront Hemingway Bar in Split on July 11.

Ultra Europe Music Festival
The main event. It has been in the making for the last one year. The phase 1 lineup was announced way back on February 12 this year, with Swedish House Mafia being the first mega team to be booked for the festival. The legendary trio will kickstart the festival on July 12!
The complete lineup for the festival includes Above & Beyond, Alesso, Adam Beyer, Armin Van Buuren, Afrojack, The Chainsmokers, Carlcox, David Guetta, Dubfire, DJ Snake, Joseph Capriati, Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Maceo Plex, NGHTMRE + Slander, Richie Hawtin, Rezz, Steve Aoki , Sasha + Nic Facciulli and Tchami X Malaa.
Other artists supporting the main lineup include Art Department, Cheat Codes, Jeffrey Sutorius, Lost Kings, Nicky Romero, Patrice Bӓumel and Sunnery James + Ryan Marciano.
Regatta Party
The Regatta Party will be held on the island of Brač at the Club 585 on Zlatni Rat Beach on July 15.
Ultra Beach Hvar
Follow up one beachside party with a party on the beach! Welcome to Ultra Beach Hvar. Scheduled to take place on July 16, this mega party will be held at the Hotel Amfora Grand Beach Resort on the island of Hvar.
Ultra Beach Hvar has been described as the greatest pool party on earth, so come prepared for this highly anticipated event! This party will start at 3pm and go on till 9.30 pm. However, if you want to carry on partying after sunset, RESISTANCE Hvar will step in to help you out!

Can we call this the Ultra Beach afterparty? Maybe!
But for those of you who want to carry on partying till the week hours of the morning, then, after you finish off at the Ultra Beach party, you can move to the fantastic Carpe Diem Beach Club in Hvar for the RESISTANCE Hvar party!

Welcome to the closing party of the Ultra Music Festival – RESISTANCE Vis, which will be held at Fort George in Vis island.
Ticket Prices
For the Ultra Music Festival, you can either buy tickets for each event, or buy tickets for the entire event. Here is the cost breakup for you:
⦁ Destination Ticket: If you’re planning to attend the entire Ultra Destination festival, then these are the packages available.
⦁ Tier 3: GA 7-Day Ticket – €369. This will cover all the events at Split, Brač, Hvar and Vis, however, you will need to make your own arrangements for accommodation.
⦁ Destination Package: €1,549. This ticket is valid from July 11 to July 20 for all the locations. The package includes a 2-night stay at a 4-Star hotel in Split with free breakfast. The hotel will be walking distance from the venue. Additionally, this package will include a 7-night stay on a standard sailing yacht, with the skipper included. The ticket will also give you general access to all the events.

If you’re planning to attend only the Ultra Europe Festival, then you can look at these tickets:
⦁ Tier 4: GA 3-Day Ticket – €169. This ticket covers general access to the festival for the 3 days.
⦁ Tier 5: GA 3-Day Ticket – €189.
⦁ GA Payment Plan: GA 3-Day Ticket – €169. If you don’t have the cash to make a full payment, then you can buy the 3-day tickets on this payment plan.
You will, however, have an added fee of €24.66 for this plan. The initial payment of €29 per ticket will be deducted from your credit card immediately.
The second payment of €84.08 per ticket will be charged to your card on June 1. And the third payment of €84.08 per ticket will be charged to your card on July 1.
Ultra Passport Pack – Ultra Music Festival Tickets:
In this package, if you buy 5 tickets, you get to unlock the 6th ticket. However, this package is only available to Ultra Passport members.
⦁ Tier 4: GA 3-Day Ticket – €169. This gives you general access to the main event.
⦁ Tier 2: Beachville 5-Day – €259. This ticket comes with accommodation at the Beachville Camping grounds from July 11 to July 16.
⦁ Tier 2: Beachville 4-Day – €239. This package comes with accommodation at the Beachville Camping grounds from July 11 to July 15.
⦁ Tier 2: Beachville 3-Day – €219. This is a 3-day package that comes with accommodation at the Beachville Camping grounds from July 12 to July 15.
VIP 3-Day Ultra Music Festival Tickets:
VIP tickets will give you expedited entry to the event via the exclusive VIP entrance. You will also get access to the viewing platform as well as dedicated VIP restrooms at the event. The 3-Day ticket cost is €369.
⦁ VIP 1-Day: This is for only one day in the event and costs €149.
⦁ VIP Payment Plan: You can also buy your 3-day VIP ticket using the VIP Payment Plan. You will have to pay an added fee of €53.85 for this plan. The first payment of €59 per ticket is charged immediately when you book your tickets. The second payment of €183.69 per ticket is charged to your card on June 1 and the third payment of €183.69 is charged on July 1.
⦁ Beachville Camping Combo: This ticket will give you a 3-day general admission access to the event and access to the Beachville campsite.
⦁ Tier 2: Beachville 5-Day – €259. The tickets are from July 11 to July 16.
⦁ Tier 2: Beachville 4-Day – €239. The tickets are from July 11 to July 15.
⦁ Tier 2: Beachville 3-Day – €219. The tickets are from July 12 to July 15

Details on Travel and Accommodation
Here are the nitty-gritties about how to get to the event, where to stay and how to manage!
Travel
You can travel by air to Split Airport (or Resnik Airport), which is located about 20km outside the city.
You can then take a bus using the Direct Bus Line which is organized by PLESO PRIJEVOZ.
You can also use public transportation. Bus stop lines No. 37 (Split to Trogir and back) and No. 38 (Split Airport to Kastel Stari to Split and back) are within walking distance from the airport.
You can also use Uber cars which are available during the airport’s operating hours.
You can also use the Ferry or Uber Boat to travel to the islands.
You can also travel by car from the surrounding countries of Slovenia, Austria, Italy and Hungary.
Transferring Between Events
If you have bought a Destination Ultra ticket, which covers the entire event, then you need to buy ferry tickets to get to the events on the islands. You can buy your ferry tickets at https://ultraeurope.com/tickets/ferry-boat/.
Accommodation
You can stay at the Beachville campsite, an accommodation unit specially offered for the festival. This campsite has its own beach and you get to meet thousands of other festival-goers here!
You can also book a hotel at the city of Split that are close to the venue or at least offer excellent shuttle services for the event.
If you are on a tight budget, you can look at the option of staying at one of the many hostels in Split.
All hostels have been reserved for the Ultra Europe Festival and have shuttle services to get you to the events.
